Initial Meeting About Your New Website
Firstly we will talk to you about what you are hoping to achieve with your new website, both aesthetically, and functionally.
Web Design Presentation
Following our initial meeting, we take your vision and create a design portfolio with our proposed website design, and branding document. Following this meeting we will discuss any changes you want to make, and iterate over this process til you are happy.
School Website Development
Once we have a design that meets your vision, we turn the design document into a school website. We give you access to during this process via a link so you can check on progress, and suggest any further changes.
Transferring the Website Content
Your content is important, we take content from your existing site and migrate it to the new site. We refine the presentation of the content as we go, alternatively we can work with you to create new content.
Training and Go Live
Finally, on a chosen date, we handover your website, giving you full training on how to update any content that you might need to and then make the school website live and available to your stakeholders.

Can we edit the website ourselves?
Of course! From your IT Team to teachers, you will be given a handover session and shown how to edit your realsmart school website so that you can manage the content yourselves and at short notice but don’t forget our helpful support team are always on hand to give you any help you may need.
Our previous supplier had hidden charges, can you clarify no hidden costs?
We are aware that other website providers do charge for updates, design tweaks, training refreshers and even update IPS tags! There are NO hidden charges with realsmart, only an annual fee.
Is it possible to change the look of our website?
Experience our commitment to long-term partnerships. Schools that have been with us for three years or more are eligible for a complimentary design refresh. Need minor visual changes or updates to your branding? Our dedicated design team is ready to assist you. Simply contact us, and we’ll handle the rest.
What CMS (Content Management System) do you use for school websites?
We build all of our websites with WordPress. Why? Because WordPress powers a large section of the world wide web, so it is a tried and tested platform with plenty of support, security and additional features we have designed for schools. We don’t want you to feel tied in and WordPress offers an easy export method should you want to take your website content elsewhere.
How secure are your sites?
We take our security very seriously and protect your school website via multiple layers of protection. Just a couple of methods that we implement include using Cloudflare DDoS protection, the latest AWS security updates, WordPress security updates amongst many more

We have over 20 years experience in working with schools. Any feature that we release will be specifically aimed at schools in order to take their website forward.
